Privacy policy

What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Template notice. This policy is written to cover how this website actually works. Before you rely on it, have it reviewed against your own processing activities — particularly if you add a CRM, mailing list or booking system.

Who we are

What we collect

  • Information you send us. Your name, email address, website address, country, industry and anything you write in the message field of our contact form.
  • Technical information. Your IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through analytics if you consent to it.
  • Correspondence. Emails and WhatsApp messages you send us, and our replies.

We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment details through this website.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To reply to your enquiry. Lawful basis: legitimate interests — you contacted us and expect an answer.
  • To provide services you engage us for. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
  • To understand how the site is used. Lawful basis: consent, given through the cookie banner.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in the contact form.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the site and reply to you:

  • Vercel — website hosting.
  • EmailJS — delivery of contact form messages. When you submit the form, the details you entered are sent from your browser to EmailJS, which forwards them to our inbox.
  • ipwho.is — a one-off country lookup used to decide which portfolio entries to display. No identifier is stored and nothing is written to your device.
  • Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics, only if you consent.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK and EEA. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by the providers' standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects are deleted after 24 months. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for seven years to satisfy accounting requirements. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

Your rights

Under UK and EU GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it. You can also withdraw consent for analytics at any time by clearing cookies. Email info@nextrankify.com and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or your local supervisory authority in the EU.
